Riaprirà al pubblico, dopo oltre trent’anni, il Museo Anatomico della Seconda Università di Napoli, fino ad oggi accessibile solo agli addetti ai lavori.
L’inaugurazione, scrive Marco Perillo su Il Mattino, si terrà il prossimo 14 marzo alle 10 nell’Aula Antonelli della Seconda Università, all’interno del Complesso di Santa Patrizia in via Armanni. Poi porte aperte due gioni alla settimana.
Il museo, tra i più antichi e importanti al mondo, fu fondato tra la fine del Settecento e l’inizio dell’Ottocento.
Ricchissima e di grande interesse la collezione esposta al Museo Anatomico, che comprende, tra le tante altre cose, i crani provenienti da Pompei e Cuma e persino le “teste della Vicaria”, ossia teschi dei giustiziati rimasti appesi per circa trent’anni in gabbie di ferro all’esterno Castel Capuano. Questi teschi portano ancora i segni del Professor Miraglia che aveva tracciato le aree celebrali seguendo lo schema lombrosiano.
Contestualmente all’inaugurazione si terrà il convegno dal titolo «Museo Anatomico Testimone di Napoli dal Mito alla Scienza» durante il quale si ripercorrerà il percorso culturale che ha condotto a sfatare i falsi miti della scienza pre-galileiana.
